Hello, I’m Katherine Liu (or simply Kat!)

As a developer with roots in media and cultural studies, I am always intrigued by the complexity of human connections. Design, for me, is a means of understanding myself, others, and the world. More importantly, the process of design is fulfilling because I can see myself bringing positive changes in others' lives.

With my ongoing exploration of emerging tech at my Master of Design program at UC Berkeley, I continue to creating innovative experiences that prioritize joy and inclusivity, especially in the fields of entertainment, museums, and education.

When I'm not designing, you can find me crocheting, sitting amid a pile of jigsaw puzzles, practicing jazz dance, or out in the park touching grass and breathing in the petrichor. Recently, I also started writing journals ;)
